HI I’M HAILIE!
I would describe myself as a perfectionist with a constant need to be creating/bettering what I do. This applies to my photography business as well because I look at it as an extension of myself. Perhaps that’s what being self employed does to someone! Or maybe that’s just the inevitable outcome of being passionate about something so intensely.
Regardless, I am here and I am soooo ready to work with you! I have been taking pictures & video since I joined Audio/Visual classes my Sophomore year of High School. After HS, I attended and graduated from Western Michigan University with a degree in Media/ Film Studies. During my time there I interned for Western Michigan University’s Extended University Programs department creating content for the university. After graduation, I spent a summer as a Media Intern with Maestro in Kalamazoo where I learned tons about working with a brand and encapsulating their message through your work.
Ah, then came along the year we will never forget- 2020. This was the year I decided to jump FULL send into my photography business. I wasn’t sure what to expect with the global pandemic and all, but it ended up being a success. I love what I do and I’m so thankful!

I love the ability to capture memories for people, but it’s not the only thing I love about this job. I love being self employed- the freedom, the ability to be creative, the opportunity to constantly meet new people. I enjoy the grind and the self motivation that’s required to run every level of a small business by myself and with the opportunity for continuous growth. It reminds me of being in school because I still feel like I’m constantly learning, but with this I enjoy every subject.
